The Städel Museum in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, boasts a distinguished collection of contemporary art, featuring significant works from 1945 to the present. As one of Germany’s oldest museums, the Städel Museum bridges 700 years of artistic heritage with two centuries of fostering contemporary art.

In recent years, the collection has grown considerably, particularly in the fields of media, graphics, photography, and sculpture—adding more than 1,000 works during this time, an unprecedented enrichment for this community-based foundation.
